Sharon L. Buck, age 60, of Middlesex Township, died Saturday, January 14, 2017, in Good Samaritan Hospice, in Cabot.

Born in Butler, on July 20, 1956, she was the daughter of Betty Frances Barker Buck and the late Richard Thomas Buck.

She was a member of Life Point Alliance Mars Campus and was active in working with children’s ministries, at the church..

Sharon graduated from Mars high School in 1975, and then from Philadelphia College of Bible, in 1979.  She loved working with special needs individuals, having worked for 37 years, first for Children’s Rehabilitation Center, then Allegheny Valley Schools, as a programmer.  Sharon was a loving and caring person.

Surviving are her Mother of Mars, and her sister, Linda Jean Buck, of Middlesex Township.

Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc., 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA, on Tuesday 3:30-7:30 PM.  Service will follow at 7:30 PM, at the Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jeff Lawther, pastor of the Life Point Alliance Mars Campus, officiating.  Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Gardens, Cheswick, PA.
