June E. Dunn of Youngstown, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at her daughter and son-in law’s home in Gibsonia, PA, after a long struggle with Parkinsons, with her loving family by her side.

Born on June 24, 1934, in Youngstown, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Parrish and Eleanor Pomery Woodward.  She married James J. Dunn on July 17, 1953 and they were married 56 years until James’ death on September 3, 2009.  June and Jim enjoyed five years of retirement in Florida and her favorite pastime was golf and she had a lot of time to play in Florida.

June was preceded in death by her sister, Jean Sylvester.

Her brother, Ronald Woodward and wife, Nancy, reside in Maine and Florida. Her sister-in-law, Pat Fickes lives in Boardman, Ohio. Her children are Steven Dunn and his wife Jenny of Canfield, Ohio and their children are Devlin and Delaney Dunn. Her son, Kevin Dunn lives in Florida and his son, Nicholas lives there also with his wife, Melissa and daughter, Stella. June’s daughter Kathleen Smith and her husband, Gary live in Gibsonia, PA. Their eldest daughter, Mallory Adams is married to C.T. Adams and they live in Maine with their two daughters, Rosalie and Iris.  Carroll, Garrett and Madison Smith, their other children, all live in Pennsylvania.
