David L. Aeberli, age 80, of Sewickley, formerly of McCandless Twp., died on Monday evening, December 11, 2017 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pgh.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA on July 12, 1937, he was the son of the late Robert and LaVergne Huggins Aeberli.

A funeral director, Dave was the former owner of the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home in Mars.

He was the former President of West View Savings Bank Board of Directors, was a Charter Member of the Rich-Mar Rotary Club and was a member of John E. Mair Lodge #729 F. & A.M and other affiliated Masonic Orders. Dave was also the President of the Trustees of Ingomar Church Cemetery.
 

Husband of Carol Naser Aeberli, father of Susan Aeberli of Walnut Creek, CA., Karen Cortez (Ernesto) of Springfield, VA and Kristen Martin (Michael) of Portland, OR., grandfather of Sebastian and August Cortez, brother of Sarah Lehew of Valencia, brother-in-law of Mary Ann Naser VanNewkirk (Bob) of West View and Bill Naser (Barb) in N.C., also many cousins, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to a reception in Celebration of Dave’s Life at the Treesdale Golf and Country Club, 1 Arnold Palmer Dr, Gibsonia, PA 15044 on FRIDAY, December 15, 2017 from 1-4 PM.
