Ethel and my mom (Elizabeth Spokony) were friends since high school, and it was my mom who introduced her to her cousin Maury, and Ethel and Maury later married. My mom loved Ethel and the two were close friends until my mom died earlier this year. Ethel was a lovely, sweet lady, who loved her family deeply. She will be missed by all of us.
