Sharon was my roommate freshman year at PCB and a close friend throughout those college years. I have great memories of Sharon from the day I met her until we graduated in 1979. Since then, miles have separated us, but we have stayed in touch every Christmas. In fact, I most looked forward to receiving Sharon's Christmas card and hearing her news. I will miss that a lot. Sharon was a loving, sweet, empathetic woman who was committed to Jesus and serving Him. I look forward to a great reunion in heaven one day soon.

We both went to school with Sharon, John and Sharon rode the bus together. John was the trouble maker not Sharon. We then attended the Life Point, formerly Mars Alliance Church together. Sharon was a giving, loving, gentle person who always stopped to share a few words. She asked about our kids and grandchildren. Heaven got a little sweeter with the addition of Sharon, she will be missed her on earth, but we will join her some day and share with her all that the Lord has prepared for us!

Sharon loved working with children leading many of them to Jesus. I first met Sharon when she was working in a summer ministry for Child Evangelism at the Butler Farm Show. Then, she and I enjoyed many years working together in Christian education ministries at Mars Alliance. She loved VBS and would take a week's vacation to do so. Shanon, "thank you for giving to the Lord. Many will be in Heaven because you did."
