I had the honor of knowing Phil during my time working registration at Passavant Hospital, where I befriended his future wife, Amanda. Phil always had a smile or a joke when he came in and always had eyes for Amanda.
To Phil's family, I know that nothing I say can console you for this tremendous loss you've experienced but know that Phil was so loved and appreciated. We are all better for having known him...
Amanda, my heart is with you, and I grieve for you. I can't imagine what you're experiencing and I just want you to know that you are so loved as well and that we are always here for you.
You all have my love during this time of mourning such an amazing man.

We are so sorry for the loss of a man who meant so much to so many. He gave his days to service for others, to help save us from situations we often cause for ourselves. I am so sorry that he didn't get a chance to see that there were people who wanted to help him too. There has been a donation to The Code Green campaign made in his name. I hope he can rest in peace, and his family and friends can find solace.

To all the Praughts and Lawthers, deep condolences. I met Philip once while visiting his Grandma Mary, when he was a little boy who lit up the room with his smile and happy nature. His Great Grampa, Alex Teed, spoke fondly of him. Rest in Peace.

My dear sweet Phil... Life will not be the same without you. I was honored to have you call me "mom" anytime you saw me! You were the sweetest, kindest person I knew and would do anything for anyone. God has gained an angel and we have all lost a great friend. I will cherish my memories and know that we will see each other again someday. To your mom and dad, you guys raised a really terrific young man that you can be very proud of! Thank you for sharing him with all of us. Amanda, I am sorry I never really got to know you, but I know you had to be very special for Phil to fall in love with you and marry you. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you!

I never finished class but I knownphil did and he was a great partner. I will always be great full for making a friendship with him and I will also remember Phil every time I step back on to a ambulance. REST EASY BROTHER WE GOT IT FROM HERE. #codegreencompagin
