Helen E. Heckman, age 96, formerly of Pittsburgh, died Friday morning, March 31, 2017 at Elmcroft Senior Living in Saxonburg.

She was born in Pittsburgh on January 1, 1921.

Helen is survived by her son, Rev. James Heckman and his wife, Mary, of Mars and her grandchildren, Jennife Sotirake, Zachary Heckman, Katie Squire and Sarah Heckman and her great grandchildren, Timothy, Justin, Patrick, Natalie, Daniel and Mason.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur W. Heckman and a daughter, Karen Heckman.

There will be no calling hours and burial will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Pgh.
