Karla M. Rodgers, age 56, of Ellwood City, formerly of Mars, died Friday afternoon, September 23, 2016 at her home.

Born in West Covina, CA on March 17, 1960, she was the daughter of the late William and Charlotte Polich.

Karla had worked as a clerk in several area convenience stores and also worked at area restaurants.

She was a Peacetime Navy Veteran and was a member of the Mars V.F.W. Post 7505.

Surviving are a son, Jason Rodgers and his wife, Sarah of Evans City, a daughter, Sarah A. Rodgers in California and two brothers, John and Matt Polich, both in California.

Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Monday from 2-4 & 7-8:30 PM.  Services will follow at 8:30 PM at the funeral home. Rev. Jeff Lawther of the Mars Alliance Church, will officiate. Memorials may be made to the Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Rd, Renfrew, PA.
