Justine M. Griffing, age 75, of Richland Twp., Gibsonia, passed away on Sunday morning, March 19, 2017 in the comfort of her home.

Born in Homestead, PA on June 18, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Norma Mae Merry Cuban.

Justine had been a Registered Nurse for Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh and had been an OR Nurse at Spencer Hospital in Meadville. She later was a Real Estate Agent for Lorch Realty.

She had served on the Board of Directors of the Northern Tier Library for many years and also had been a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Linesville.

She was an avid swimmer, enjoyed fitness activities and playing Bridge.  She also belonged to an investment club.

Beloved wife of Robert E. Griffing, who she married on March 27, 1965, mother of Rayna Santiago and the late Danya Bea Eirkson, mother-in-law of Eli Santiago and James Eirkson and grandmother of Gabrielle and Ben Santiago and Cole Eirkson.

Friends are invited to a Celebration of Justine’s Life at the First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 11:00 AM. Rev. Gary Weston, officiating. Burial will be in Linesville Cemetery, Crawford County, PA. Memorials may be made to the Northern Tier Library, 4015 Dickey Rd, Gibsonia, PA 15044.
