John R. Heckert, age 67, of Middlesex Twp., Valencia, died Wednesday morning, February 8, 2017 at Sunnyview Home in Butler.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA on December 27, 1949, he was the son of Margaret Burrows Heckert and the late Robert L. Heckert, Jr.

John had worked as a laborer for James Austin Company and was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Gibsonia.

Surviving are his mother, Margaret Heckert and his brother, Thomas Heckert, both of Valencia.
