James E. Kelly, Sr., age 75, of Valencia, died Friday evening, June 17, 2016 at LAS St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars.

Born in Natrona Heights, PA on July 13, 1940, he was the son of the late John F. and Martha Kelly, Sr.

Jim had been a retail clerk and manager for Phar-Mor and Kroger’s and most recently had been a greenskeeper at Treesdale Country Club.

He had attended the Mars Alliance Church and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Father of James Kelly, Jr. (Susan) of Mars, Adam Kelly of Valencia, JoAnn Becker in North Carolina and Megan Dille (Joel) of Washington Co., PA., grandfather of Angela Benvenuti, Amy MacKrell (Barry), James E. Kelly, III., Lucas Kelly and Eliza Jane Dille, great grandfather of Cody MacKrell and a soon to be great granddaughter MacKrell, brother of John F. Kelly, Jr (Kathy) of Leechburg.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Margaret Ann Harvey and his brothers, Richard, Thomas Francis and William C. Kelly.
