William J. "Bill" Rausch

William J. "Bill" Rausch, age 91, of Gibsonia, Pine Twp., passed away on Tuesday afternoon, July 2, 2024 in the comfort of his home with his family at his side.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA on September 14, 1932, he was the son of the late Jacob and Mary Hrubiak Rausch.

Bill was a carpenter for Joseph Horne's Department Store (now Macy's) in Pittsburgh and was a member of the Carpenter's Union.

He served as a Sergeant in the United States Army during the Korean War and was a member of Mars V.F.W. Post 7505.

He was a member of St. Mark the Evangelist Parish at St. Kilian Church.

Husband of Janet C. Nussbaumer Rausch, who he married on October 19, 1957, father of Barbara Koenig of Gibsonia, William Rausch (Kelly) in Pittsburgh and Timothy Rausch (Ruth) of Cranberry Twp. Grandpap of Ellen and Julie Koenig, Sydney, Gretchen, Kelly, Nicole and Justin, great grandpap of Chance and Elizabeth.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Jake Rausch.

Family will greet relatives and friends at St. Kilian Church, 7076 Franklin Rd. Cranberry Twp., PA 16066 on Friday, July 5, 2024 from 10:00 AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Fr.
