William N. Volk

William N. Volk, age 90, of Mars, passed away on Tuesday morning, February 16, 2021 at Good Samaritan Hospice in Wexford.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA on November 22, 1930, he was the son of the late Andrew and Hettie Garlock Volk.

Bill had been a truck driver for William J. Brown Trucking. He also drove for Butler Motor Transit.

He had served in the United States Army Air Corp during the Korean War.

He was a member of LifePointe Alliance Church in Mars.

Surviving are four grandchildren, William S. Volk, Randy Volk, Sean Volk and Aimee Volk and a sister, Agnes Kostick.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice E. Stewart Volk, who he married on January 9, 1952 and who died on March 10, 2015, by a son, William S. Volk and by 8 brothers and sisters.

Friends will be received at the LifePointe Alliance Church, 997 Route 228, Mars, PA  16046 on Friday from 2-4 PM. Services will follow at 4:00 PM with Rev. Jeff Lawther, officiating.
