Violet M. Lawther

Violet M. Lawther, age 97, of Valencia, passed away on Wednesday afternoon, May 15, 2024 at UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Twp.

Born in Richland Twp., PA on October 6, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Mamie Snyder Peaco.

A homemaker, Violet was a member of the Hampton Presbyterian Church.

Beloved mother of Sandra L. Milliken (Robert) and Nancy A. Jackson (Gary), both of Gibsonia, grandmother of Tracy, Craig, Michelle, Amanda and Tina, great grandmother of Ten, mother-in-law of Leslie Lawther of Valencia, sister of Rachel Schell of West Alexander, PA and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry T. Lawther, who she married on July 6, 1949 and who died on April 3, 2007, by her sons, Thomas R. Lawther and Richard L. Lawther. Also by her siblings, Eleanor Shak and John, Howard and William Peaco.
