Treva F. (Bennett) Smith

Treva F. Smith, age 93, of Adams Twp., Gibsonia, formerly of Murrysville, passed away on Friday morning, September 10, 2021 at UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Born in Homer City, Indiana County, PA on September 10, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Freda Duncan Bennett.

Treva had worked as a Secretary for the F.B.I., the Franklin Regional School District and Mine Safety in Murrysville.

She was a member of the Grace Reformed Presbyterian Church of America in Monroeville, where she served as the organist for 25 years.

Surviving are her husband, Herman B. Smith, Jr., who she married on June 15, 1952, a son, Douglas B. Smith (Erin) of Gibsonia, two daughters, Lynda K. Rizzo (Ron) of Palm Coast, FL and Karen D. Moore of Monroeville, her grandchildren, Stacy Lynne Moore, Gregory C. Moore (Tara), Conor L. Smith and Patrick B. Smith, a sister, Jeanne Evans (Charles “Abby”) of Martinsburg, PA and a brother, Gary Lee Bennett of Valencia.
