Timothy C. Yoakum, age 59, of Butler, passed away in the comfort of his home on Sunday afternoon, April 18, 2021.
Born in Natrona Heights, PA on May 22, 1961, he was the son of Etha “Cookie” Payne Wolfe and the late David C. Yoakum.
Tim had been an electrician by trade.
He loved hunting and fishing, spending time with family and friends and listening to the Grateful Dead. Tim was the kind of person who would give you the tie-dyed shirt off his back.
Surviving are his mother, Etha “Cookie” Wolfe (Mike) of Butler, his step-mother, Joann Nath Yoakum of Bakerstown, two daughters, Katrina Kost (Andy) of Sterling, VA and Jessica Long (Jason) of Richland Twp., his grandchildren, Anderson, Lydia, Cooper and Garrett, his siblings, Deborah Frishkorn (George) of Evans City, Holly McKenna (Tim) of Durham, N.C., Thomas F. Kennedy (Lori) of Mars and Daelyn Pronesti of Butler, and many nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary Kay Yoakum.
Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Wednesday from 6-8 PM. The family asks that masks are worn and social distancing guidelines must be followed.
