Thomas Richard Wroblewski

Thomas Richard Wroblewski, age 88, of Valencia, Pennsylvania, was called to eternal life on Good Friday, March 29, 2024, in the comfort of his home with his family at his side.

Born on Good Friday, April 19, 1935, on Polish Hill, Tom was the eldest son of the late Chester and Blanche Kopicki Wroblewski.

Tom was a graduate of Central Catholic High School, the University of Pittsburgh, and did graduate studies at the University of Southern California.  He served in the United States Army and trained on missiles at Fort Bliss, TX.  He was a professional accordion player and with his group, played throughout the city of Pittsburgh while working his way through college. 

Tom was a sales and marketing executive for the Dow Chemical Company headquartered in Midland, MI.  During his career with Dow, he held positions in Midland, MI, Los Angeles, CA, New York City, Houston, TX, and St. Louis, MO.  He was a member of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul at St. Mark the Evangelist Parish.

Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Geraldine Szymanski Wroblewski, married on January 6, 1962, his children, Gretchen Wroblewski Cornett (Mike) of St. Louis, MO, Tom Wroblewski (Lisa) of Waupaca, WI, Tim Wroblewski (Amy) of Elm Grove, WI, and Ted Wroblewski of St. Louis, MO, his grandchildren, Urban, Blase, Irene, Louis, Maddie, Kim, Dan, Kate, Lizzie, Michael, and T.J. (Thomas John), two brothers, Chester Winston of Clearwater, FL., and Gerard Wroblewski (Nancy) of Pittsburgh, sister-in-law, Diane Wroblewski of Mt. Pleasant, SC, and many beloved nieces and nephews.  Tom was preceded in death by his brother Kenneth, and sister and brother-in-law, Judith and Jim Pasquarelli.

Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Tom’s Birthday, Friday, APRIL 19, 2024 from 4-7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Kilian Church, 7076 Franklin Rd. Cranberry Twp., PA 16066 on Saturday, APRIL 20, 2024 at 10:00 AM.  Fr.
