Thomas Michael Martin

Thomas Michael Martin, age 69, of Mars, passed away on Saturday morning, December 13, 2025, in the comfort of his home with his family by his side.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA on May 6, 1956, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Jean Sanner Martin.

He was a truck driver and an entrepreneur, he had owned and operated multiple businesses throughout his life in the Pittsburgh area.

Tom enjoyed good cigars, playing poker and gin, cooking huge family dinners and most of all time spent with his family.

Husband of Earlene R. Ashenfelter Martin,  father of Carmela J. Martin of North Hills, Michael A. Martin of Mars, Toria G. Martin of Mars, Thomas J. Martin (Jody) of Wexford and Nicole Patil (Jordan) of North Hills, Grandfather of Sophia M. Nablo and Talia and Mila Patil. Brother of Donna Medvan of Brackenridge, Joseph Martin (Von) of Butler and Jean McCurry (Sam Clever) of Lower Burrell,  nieces and nephews and best friend of Bobby Puniak of Gibsonia.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Dr. Jennifer Voit and brother-in-law, Dennis Voit.

Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Services will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Jay Mitlo, officiating. Burial will be in Mars Cemetery.
