"Riding Into Eternity"
With a heart full of adventure, a thrill-seeking spirit and a love for the open trail, Scott Michael Koch left an indelible mark on all our lives. Scott passed away suddenly on October 13, 2024, at the age of 61, surrounded by his loving family.
“A Life of Speed and Passion”
Scott’s love for dirt biking took him on countless adventures, unfortunately, one of those adventures ended with him in a nursing home for the last 25 years. Scott made the best of his situation and learned how to enjoy the small things. He truly enjoyed the people around him. He loved his family, and he learned to live in the moment. He had a huge heart and one of the most amazing souls! He never lost his ability to crack a good joke, say something sarcastic, or show you that smile that lit up the room.
“Beyond the Track”
Scott loved to spend his free time working on cars, riding his KTM 250 with his son Michael, and being around his family! He also enjoyed a good game of dominos to go with his butterfingers and Dr. Pepper.
Scott is survived by his mother, Norma Berry; his children, Kristy Koch, Michael (Kerri) Koch and Samantha Stinson; his grandchildren, Alyssa, Jacob (Kristy), Alexi and Kacee Koch (Michael); his siblings Donna Podbilski (Rick), and Sharon Koch; and his nieces, Stephanie Cannon (Kirk) and Alexis Koch.
Scott was preceded in death by his father Raymond Koch Jr. and his sister.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 26th in Michigan. In Lieu of Flowers, the family asks that you plant a tree in Scott’s name. Arrangements are under the direction of the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA and condolences are available at www.mcdonald-aeberli.com.
