Samuel W. Magill, Jr.

Samuel W. Magill, Jr., age 40, of Saxonburg, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 12, 2022.

Born on January 27, 1981 in Ellwood City, he was the son of Sue and Samuel W. Magill, Sr. of Saxonburg.

Sam was employed by Joe Paterson in Butler. Joe was a special person and always went out of his way for Sam. They were very fond of each other.

He loved classic cars, especially the red ’66 Chevelle. He enjoyed going to truck pulls and was a great fan of baseball, football, and the Steelers. Above all else, Sam loved his children and family.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his two sons, Samuel W. Magill III of Saxonburg and Brody Parks of West Sunbury; a brother, Edward Verbanac of Saxonburg; a sister, Theresa (Terry) Durci of Saxonburg and her three daughters, Gabrielle, Hannah, and Isabella. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a maternal uncle, Ron Fester.

Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Sunday from 1-4 PM and on Monday from 2-4 and 6-7:30 PM.
