Ronald E. Moore

Ronald E. Moore, age 85, of Valencia, formerly of West Deer Twp., passed away on Friday evening, June 28, 2024 at St. Barnabas Home in Gibsonia.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA on January 9, 1939, he was the son of the late James and Nellie Hunter Moore.

Ron had served eight years in the United States Air Force and the United States Coast Guard during peacetime. He was a member of the Bakerstown American Legion.

Ron had been a tool grinder for Herr-Voss Corporation in Callery.

He was a member of Allegheny Wesleyan Methodist Church in Butler and was a board member of the Tri-State Holiness Association in Clinton, PA.

Loving husband of 56 years of Sarah E. Kimball Moore, whom he married on November 25, 1967, brother-in-law of Ruth Hoak, Shirley Sandreth, Alice Johnston, Carol Karas and James Kimball and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, Scott E. Moore, by a sister, Jean Smith, a brother, James Moore and his in-laws, Margaret Anderson, Lois Kovaly and Stephen, Walter, John and Andrew Kimball.

Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Friday from 4-7:00 PM. Additional visitation on Saturday from 10:00-11:00 AM time of Service with Rev.
