Ronald Gene Leonberg

Ronald Gene Leonberg, age 80, of Mars, passed away on Thursday morning, November 4, 2021 at The Orchards of Saxonburg.

Born in Butler, PA on August 3, 1941, he was the son of the late Harold and Stella Brandstetter Leonberg.

Ron had been a shipper for Mine Safety in Callery.

He was a Social member of the Mars V.F.W.

Surviving are his wife, Nancy Fay Tayman Leonberg, who he married on November 6, 1965, a son, Robert D. Leonberg of Mars, three sisters, Trudy Buczkowski of Zelienople, Donna Fleek in Florida and Nancy Trenton of Cleveland, OH, and two brothers, John Leonberg of Evans City and David Leonberg (Pat) of Fombell and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Bonnie Scharrer, Sally McMillen and Betty Haney and his brothers, Robert and Harold.

Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Monday, November 8, 2021 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Burial will be in Mars Cemetery, Adams Twp.
