Robert J. "Bob" Thiel

Robert J. “Bob” Thiel, age 62, of Renfrew, passed away unexpectedly from complications due to Covid-19 on Friday morning, August 6, 2021.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA on October 28, 1958, he was the son of the late Robert W. and Grace Lamoffia Thiel.

Bob worked as a mason for various companies over the years.

He loved golf, the horse tracks, and bowling. He will be greatly missed and will always be remembered for his sense of humor.

Surviving are his wife, Maria Guerrero Thiel, who he married on June 20, 1998; his three children, Rachel (John) Jacobs of Pgh., Maria (Dewey) Buzzard of Saxonburg, and Ozzie (Megan) Cosme of Butler; his eleven grandchildren, Cassandra, Alyssa, Danny, Jordan, Logan, Brianna, Lily, Kennedy, Salina, Marilynn, and Zoey; one great-grandchild due in December; and four sisters. Preceded in death by one sister.
