Robert A. McGraw, III

Robert A. McGraw, III, age 50, of Slippery Rock, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 10, 2022.

Born on December 28, 1971 in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Alberta and the late Robert A. McGraw, Jr.

Bob proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. from 1995 to 1999. He had been a Pennsylvania State Trooper for seven years.

He was the women’s basketball coach for Slippery Rock University for the past eight seasons.

Surviving are his mother, Alberta Henry McGraw of Wexford; his son, Reed Scott McGraw of Butler; a brother, Shane (Shannon) McGraw of Saxonburg; and a sister, Misty McGraw (Kirk) of Wexford. Also survived by five nieces, one nephew, and several aunts and uncles.

Friends and family will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Wednesday from 2-8 PM. A service for family and close friends will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 11:00 AM.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
