Rita V. (Elter) Navarro

Rita V. Navarro, age 84, formerly of Shaler Twp., passed away on Saturday evening, February 15, 2025 at St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA on October 29, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Frances Schultz Elter.

A homemaker, Mrs. Navarro was of the Catholic Faith.

Surviving are two daughters, Dianne Buckalew (Mark) of Hilton Head, S.C. and Linda Neugebauer (Paul) of Franklin Park, a son, Rick Navarro of Saxonburg and her grandchildren, Adam, Garrett, Alexis, Chad, Carra, Luke, Seth and Brett.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fernando V. Navarro, who she married on June 27, 1959 and who died on February 25, 2016 and by a brother, Sylvester Elter.
