Rita B. (Burns) Evans

Rita B. Evans, age 86, of Valencia, Middlesex Twp., passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020, at Concordia of Cabot.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA on June 16, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Gertrude White Burns.

Rita had been an Administrative Assistant for Bell Telephone.

She was a member of Holy Sepulcher Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Karen Evans of Saxonburg, two sons, Gregory Evans (Rebecca) of Spring Mills and James “Hap” Evans (Andrea) of Middlesex Twp. Grandmother of Amanda Becker (Rusty), Jenna Grife (Steve), Dylan Evans, Matthew Evans (Katherine), Rachel Evans (Boniface), Kevin, Shawn and Michael Bell. Great-grandmother of Declan James and Soumayah.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Evans, who she married on May 23, 1977 and who died on August 23, 2013 and by a sister, Dorothy.
