Rickey L. Feil, Sr.

Rickey L. Feil, Sr.,age 72, of Cranberry Twp., passed away on October 16th at UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Twp., with his beloved family by his side. 

He was born in Natrona Heights, PA, on March 30th, 1953. He was the son of the late Leroy Brink and Rosemary Feil Durian. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two sisters Sandy Feil and Debbie Elmquist along with his grandson Zachary Feil. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Linda D. Boyle Feil, whom he married on October 2nd, 1971;  his three sons, Rickey Feil Jr. and Robert Feil (Martha) of Butler, PA and Ronnie Feil (Stephanie) of Cranberry Twp, PA. As well as his daughter, Renee Safreed (Jason) of Mars, PA. He cherished his many grandchildren April, Courtney, Taylor, Garrett, Tyler, Jakob, Morgan, Maddy, Cody and Breanna, along with his great-grandchildren, Alexa, Mason, and Charlotte. He is also survived by his two brothers, Anthony Durian (Kathy) of Johnsburgh, PA and Joseph Durian (Amanda) of Wilcox, PA and many nieces and nephews. 

Rickey was a chrome plater for Paul’s Chrome Plating for most of his life and most recently was a driver for Shults Ford in Wexford. He was a former Fire Chief and Life Member of the Callery Volunteer Fire Company where he had served since 1983. He was a member of Crestview Community Church. 

He loved to spend his time fishing, camping, and playing cards with his family. He enjoyed classic cars and music as well. He cherished any time spent with his grandchildren whether it was their sport events, dance recitals, or just quality time. He was a beloved Steelers and Pirates fan. 

Friends and Family will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.  Members of Callery V.F.C. will conduct services on Monday evening at 7:30 PM. Burial will be in Mars Cemetery.
