Richard H. Widmaier

Richard H. Widmaier, age 86, formerly of Gibsonia, Richland Twp., passed away on Tuesday morning, June 3, 2025 at Kadima of Cheswick.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA on March 26, 1939, he was the son of the late Harry William and Helen Gasparina Widmaier.

He had served in the United States Army during the Korean War and was a member of Mars V.F.W. Post 7505.

Richard was a Right-of-Way Agent for Duquesne Light, working there for 36 years.

He was a member of LifePointe Alliance Church.

Surviving are his daughters, Caroline Widmaier of Cantonment, FL and Kimberly Miller (Bill) of Gibsonia, his sons, Mark Widmaier (Stephanie) of Jefferson, MD and Daniel Widmaier of Rimersburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Ann Majireck Widmaier, who he married on May 19, 1965 and who died on July 31, 2014, by a granddaughter, Audrey Widmaier and by his sisters, June Gmuer and Lynda Huffman.

A private family viewing was held. There will be no service. Burial was in West Union Cemetery, Pine Twp. Memorials in his memory may be made to the Jewish Missions at LifePointe Alliance Church, 997 Rt. 228, Mars, PA 16046.
