Richard C. Miles

Richard C. Miles, age 88, of Adams Twp., passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, June 10.

He was born on March 31, 1936 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Annabelle and Michael Miles during the big flood.

He is survived by his most loving wife of almost 67 years, Virginia Miles, his children, Richard P. Miles, Jerry Miles (Christine), Joseph Miles (Beatrice), Kate Limauro (David), his grandchildren Joshua Miles (Tara), Brittany Heiskell (Jeff), Michael Limauro (Gabi), the late Andrew Limauro, Gracie Limauro, David Limauro and Camila Miles, and his four beautiful, great-grandchildren, Max Heiskell, Oscar Heiskell, Molly Miles and Caroline Miles.

Richard was preceded in death by his siblings Rosemary Wolf, James Miles, Barbara Miles and Diane Wishinski. 

Richard was president of The A.G. Mauro company for over 44 years, where he and his partner, Raymond Mauro built a successful architectural door and hardware company until he retired in 2001. He was respected and loved by many employees over the years.

Richard was very generous with his time and talents as he helped a multitude of charities and individuals in his lifetime. Richard opened up his heart and home to many people throughout his life. He will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved him.

Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Thursday from 4-8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Kilian Church, 7076 Franklin Rd. Cranberry Twp., PA 16066 on Friday at 10:00 AM. Please meet at the church. Entombment will be in the Mausoleum at Holy Savior Cemetery, Richland Twp.
