Phyllis A. (Palombo) Scanga

Phyllis A. Scanga, age 94, of Mars, formerly of Bloomfield, passed away on Wednesday afternoon, October 12, 2022 at St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA on August 28, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Philomena Giunto Palombo.

Phyllis had been a Credit Manager for West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh.

She was a member of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Bloomfield and the Bloomfield AARP.

She is survived by her sister, Marlene Pekins in California. Also five nephews, four nieces and many great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Joanne Robison.

Friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Kilian Church, 7076 Franklin Rd. Cranberry Twp., PA 16066 on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 11:30 AM. Fr. Charles Bober, officiating. Entombment will be in the Mausoleum at Allegheny Cemetery in Pgh.
