Peter P. “Dinky” Bova, age 86, of Middlesex Twp., Valencia, passed away on Sunday afternoon, August 27, 2023, in the comfort of his home with his family at his side. Pete was the beloved husband of the late Mary Bova.
Born in Pittsburgh, PA on June 29, 1937, he was the loving son of the late Ellen and Peter Bova.
Pete is survived by his son, Dean Bova and his wife, Beth, his grandson, Matthew and his wife, Jessica, his grandson, Christopher and his wife, Nicole, his granddaughter, Andrea and her husband, Pete, as well as nine great grandchildren. Also survived by his sister, Gail and his brother, Marc. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Bova, his mother Ellen, his father, Peter and his sister, Barbie Menzel.
Pete’s career was a significant part of his life. In 1972, he founded Bova Sheet Metal on the South Side, which eventually flourished into Bova Corp, now operated by surviving family in Valencia. Pete’s dedication to his work was unwavering, and even in his later years when he couldn’t actively run the business, he remained a familiar face in the shop, visiting almost daily.
Peter Bova will be remembered for his hard work, entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to his family. He leaves behind a legacy of success and a strong bond that will be cherished by his loved ones. May his soul rest in peace.
Pete had served in the U.S. Army Reserves.

Cruikshank Rd. Butler, PA 16002 on Friday, September 1, 2023 at 10:30 AM. Please meet at the church. Entombment will be in the Chapel at Butler County Memorial Park.
