Pamela G. (Graham) Chapple

Pamela G. Chapple, age 77, of Valencia, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Twp.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA on April 19, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Austin and Helen Ruda Graham.

In the 1970’s Pam was the Director of Special Events for Kaufman’s Department Store in Pittsburgh where she developed many personal contacts throughout the city. For many years she was an active member of the Twentieth Century Club and for a number of years had the honor of serving as its President.

She was an avid reader, active in politics, had an eye for a good deal and unique fashion, and was always dressed for the occasion.  She loved orchids and her cats and of course the love of her life, her husband, Ben, who valiantly stood by her side after she became physically limited. Despite her limitations, she never lost her dignity, her infectious smile or her love of life.

Surviving are her husband and best friend, Bennett Chapple, her brother, Richard Graham and his wife, Karen of Apollo, a step-son, Ben Chapple, Jr. and his wife, Sharon of Dallas, TX and Todd Chapple and his wife Kathy of Highlands Ranch, CO., her grandchildren, Bennett, Henry, Hannah, William, Oliver and Caitlin and her husband, Sean Flaherty.
