Nathan James Zubik

Nathan J. Zubik, age 35, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday, July 26, 2021 at his home in Tarentum.

Born on October 8, 1985 in Pittsburgh, he is the son of Dina Louise Fricke of Valencia and Dale James Zubik of West View.

Nathan was a proud United States Marine, who served two tours in Iraq.

He was a dedicated, hard-working, tree climber for North Hills Tree Service. He had a passion for hand carving wood, working with his tools, and whittling.

Not many people knew that Nathan loved music, including writing and singing his own songs. He was a talented, skillful, kind, and loving man.

Nathan will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Andrew (Rebecca) Zubik of New York, his nephew, Guy Charles Zubik, his niece, Leah Kate Zubik, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who all loved him very much.

A private family service will be held at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA, In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Nathan’s honor to the Veterans Administration to help with Veteran Homelessness at www.va.gov/homeless.
