Mary C. "Nikki" (Neel) Weaver

Mary C. "Nikki" Weaver, age 83, of Mars, passed away on Sunday morning, April 13, 2025 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA on October 4, 1941, she was the daughter of the late William and Kathryn McKinney Neel.

Nikki was born and raised in Mars, PA. After marrying in 1967, she and Rich continued to reside in Mars to raise her family. She worked for many years as a caregiver at St. John Convalescent Home, now Valencia Woods at St. Barnabas.

She enjoyed reading, music, collecting dolls and antiques and shopping. An avid football fan, she would be rooting on her favorite teams, Penn State and the Pittsburgh Steelers every weekend. Most important to her in the world was her family and friends and she is going to be greatly missed by both.

Nikki, as she was affectionally known is survived by her loving husband, RIchard of 57 years, her cherished children, Tracy L. (Stephen) and Raymond W., and her most adored grandchildren, Caitlyn Houser and Chase Weaver. Forever remembered and cherished by surviving siblings, Linda (Larry) Fox, Richard (Nancy) Neel, Betty (Robert) Fox, Joyce Neel, Kim Neel and Susie (Michael) Brashear, sister-in-law, Nancy Neel, nieces and nephews and her grandpets, Shaggy, Junebug and Tis the Turtle.

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Patty (Robert) Lamberson, William Neel, Jr., and brothers-in-law, Robert (Frances) Weaver and Ronald Weaver.

Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Services will be held on Friday at 10:00 AM at the funeral home with Rev.
