Mary J. (Williams) Shedd

Mary J. Shedd, age 89, of Seven Fields, formerly of Greenville and Port Orange, FL., passed away on Tuesday morning, January 13, 2026 while under the care of Concordia of Cranberry.

Born in Greenville, PA on March 13, 1936, she was the daughter of the late William and Emma Lindsay Williams.

Mary was an elementary school teacher for the Greenville School District.

She had been a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Greenville and most recently attended St. Mark the Evangelist Parish at St. Kilian Church in Cranberry Twp.

Mary was a devoted and loving mom and gram.

Beloved mother of Sharyn Lipnicky and her husband, Christopher of Seven Fields, grandmother of Erin Potter and her husband, Caleb of Buffalo, N.Y.,  and Christopher Lipnicky of Seven Fields, great grandmother of Sophia Lynne Potter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Shedd and by an infant brother.

Friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Kilian Church, 7076 Franklin Rd. Cranberry Twp., PA 16066 on SATURDAY, JANUARY 24, 2026 at 11:00 AM. The family will great friends from 10:30 to 11:00 AM Mass time.  In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Marissa’s Mission, 803 Yardley Commons, Yardley, PA 19067.
