Mark E. Kuss, age 63, of Jamestown, PA, formerly of Mars, passed away on Saturday afternoon, August 17, 2024 at his home.
Born in Pittsburgh, PA on February 25, 1961, he was the son of Martin J. Kuss and the late Mary Lou Caye Kuss.
A 1979 graduate of Mars High School, Mark was the founder and former owner of Steel City Grease Traps.
“Mark was a man of many passions, whose love for the great outdoors was evident in his dedication to hunting and fishing. His adventurous spirit also led him to explore new places, always seeking the thrill of new experiences and memories to share with his loved ones. He enjoyed the occasional night at the casino, reveling in the excitement of the games. Most importantly, Mark cherished his family, making every gathering a celebration filled with laughter and love. Mark's vibrant zest for life, coupled with his unwavering devotion to his loved ones, created a legacy of cherished moments that will forever reside in our hearts.”
Surviving are his former wife, Angela L. Walker Kuss, four daughters, Heather Kuss of Mars, Melissa Santo (George) of Belle Vernon, and Hanah and Leah Kuss, both of Pittsburgh, his grandchildren, Amayah, Kylie, Georgie, Johnny and Auggie, his father, Martin J. Kuss of Mars, a sister, Sandra Lazar of Tucson, AZ and a brother, James Kuss of Hudson, N.Y.
Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-7:30 PM. Services will follow at 7:30 PM at the funeral home with Rev. Jeff Lawther, officiating.
