Marjorie E. (McClelland) Lytle

Marjorie E. Lytle, age 83, of Mars, formerly of Zelienople and Economy Boro, passed away on Wednesday afternoon, April 9, 2025 at St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA on January 11, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Marjorie Dawkin McClelland.

Marjorie had been a bookkeeper for PNC Bank.

She was a member of St. Thomas in the Fields Anglican Church in Gibsonia.

Mother of Lorraine Kristyak (Daniel) of Columbus, Ohio and Robert Lytle, Jr. (Robin) of Mars, grandmother of Robbie Jay Rossick, Joseph Rausch, Maegan McClintock (Evan) and Jennifer Bitzer (Austin) and Amanda Lytle, great grandmother of Owen Lytle, Lorelai Rausch, Millie and Lillie Bitzer, and Riley and Bryson McClintock, and sister of James McClelland of McKees Rocks.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. Lytle, Sr., who she married on June 30, 1962 and who died on January 23, 2018 by a brother, Robert Romig and a great granddaughter, Ava Clare.

Friends will be received the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Monday, April 14, 2025 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at St. Thomas in the Fields Anglican Church, 4106 St. Thomas Dr. Gibsonia, PA 15044. Rev. Ron Baillie, officiating. Burial will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, PA. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association (alz.org).
