Marilyn Wade Webster King Obituary

Marilyn Wade Webster King, age 91, of Seven Fields, PA, peacefully went to be with her Lord on Wednesday evening, July 31, 2024, at Concordia of Cranberry.  She had her loving family and amazing Concordia staff right by her side.

Marilyn was born in Erie, PA on April 26, 1933 and later lived in Pittsburgh PA, Dallas PA and Basking Ridge N.J.

She attended Edinboro College and received her degree in Art Education and was an Art Teacher in local schools.   She later became the director of an art gallery at College of Miseracordia in Dallas PA.  However, the role she was most proud of was the role of being a mother and grandmother (affectionately known as Gaga).

Marilyn's strong faith and beautiful light was evident to everyone that came in contact with her.  She was fiercely loved by her family, stepfamily, and many friends.   Wherever she lived, she became involved in vibrant church communities, including the most recent which was Dutilh United Methodist Church of Cranberry Twp, PA.

Marilyn's enthusiastic love of life and the ability to turn every ordinary moment into a special occasion was like none other.   Her smile alone lit up every room she walked into.   She found so much peace and joy being near beaches and water.  That extended from the beaches of Erie PA to the shores of Ireland and everywhere in between!   She battled Parkinson's with every ounce of strength and courage that she had, all with her positivity and enthusiasm that was her trademark.   What an example of living life to the fullest for all  of us!

Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Marilyn’s life at Dutilh United Methodist Church, 1270 Dutilh Rd. Cranberry Twp. on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at 11:00 AM.  Memorials may be made to Good Samaritan Hospice, 116 Browns Hill Rd. Valencia, PA 16059. Arrangements are under the direction of the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA and condolences are available at www.mcdonald-aeberli.com.
