Marie Molnar Obituary

Marie C. (Sahli) Molnar age 91 of Orlando, Florida, formerly of Valencia, PA passed on to the Kingdom Triumphant on Saturday, March 19, 2022.

Born May 4, 1930 at Treesdale Farm, Gibsonia, she was the daughter of Elmer and Mabel Sahli.  She was married to William J. Molnar for 64 years, who passed on to the Kingdom Triumphant on May 17, 2015.

Mrs. Molnar was an active member of the Valencia Presbyterian Church where she served as an Elder, Deacon, Sunday School Superintendent, and Sunday School Teacher.   She was an avid sports fan and was a coach for Valencia Girls Softball for many years.  She was a Cub Scout Den Mother and supported her children playing in multiple sports.  She enjoyed golf, bowling, and was a member of two card clubs.

She worked for Reliance Life Insurance Company as a policy typist and was secretary for the Valencia Presbyterian Church for many years. 

Surviving are two sons, William Molnar Jr. and Deborah Molloy Molnar of Southport, NC, the Rev. Dennis W. Molnar and Theresa “Terri” Wallace Molnar of Green Tree, PA, a daughter, Nancy J. Raymond and Frank Raymond of Orlando, FL, a sister Jean Quinn and Quay “Jack” Quinn of Jacksonville, FL.  She has 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Howard, Oscar, Floyd, and Sam Sahli, and two sisters, Mildred Molnar and Grace Tyson.

Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Friday, April 1 from 3-7 PM. A Celebration of Life and Witness to the Resurrection Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 2, at the Valencia Presbyterian Church, 80 Sterrett Street, Valencia, PA 16059.  Interment will be at the West Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Valencia Presbyterian Church, 80 Sterrett Street, Valencia, PA 16059 or Camp Lambec, 134B South Main Street P.O. Box 279 Zelienople, PA 16063.
