Margaret C. "Marge" (Cutler) Wirsing

Margaret C. “Marge” Wirsing of Zelienople, formerly of Callery, died Thursday morning, November 11, 2021 at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born in Uniontown, PA on January 21, 1932, daughter of the late George and Anna Bacha Cutler, she graduated from North Union High School.

She retired in 2003 from the Butler Area School District, where she was a secretary for the PAR Program.

She attended St. Kilian Church in Cranberry Twp.

Surviving are a sister, Betty Brenckle of Harmony, her local nieces and nephews, Linda Finnigan of Harmony, James Brenckle (Cheri) and Ronald “Mac” Brenckle (Jessica), both of Butler, Susan Scheller (Brian) of Baden and Michelle Ringler of Slippery Rock, also additional nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin E. Wirsing, who she married on August 28, 1968 and who died on September 2, 2008, by her sisters, Agnes Zitney, Josephine Holchin, Catherine Wiltrout and Anna Kremposky and by her brothers, George and Thomas Cutler.

Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Sunday from 3-7 PM. A Blessing Service will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
