Mamie Lou (McBride) Caudill

Mamie Lou Caudill, age 83, of Mars, passed away on Monday afternoon, October 17, 2022 in the comfort of her home with her loving family at her side.

Born in North Tazewell, VA on April 10, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Rufus B. and Sally Maxine Wright McBride.

She had worked as a nurse’s aide and in the dietary department at St. John Specialty Care Center and also worked at Eden Hall.

Mamie loved flower gardening and house plants. She enjoyed walking and being outside.

Surviving are her husband, Roger Dean Caudill, who he married on April 3, 1959, two daughters, Julie Moody (Bill) of Mars and Betty Davidson (Brian Lander) of Mercer, two sons, Roger Caudill (Jill) of Slippery Rock and Michael Caudill (Mary) of Mars, grandmother of Christine Boice, Heather Kuss, Melissa Santo (George), Michael Caudill, Matt Caudill (Lacey) and Haley Karch (Cody) great grandmother of Amayah, Maddie, McKenna, Georgie, Lea, Kylie, Johnny, Dean and Anna, a sister, Ella Marrs in Virginia and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her  brothers, Ralph, Clarence and Joe McBride and her sisters, Mary Jackson, Nancy Jackson and Liz Bradley.

Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Service on Friday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Butler County Memorial Park. Directions and condolences are available at www.mcdonald-aeberli.com.
