Louise C. (Cribbs) Pruett

Louise C. Pruett, age 88, of Mars, formerly of Verona and Beaver, passed away on Monday morning, May 18, 2026, at St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA on February 7, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Merrill W. and Isabel Noss Cribbs.

Louise had been a Registered Nurse for 40 years working in the operating rooms at Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh and Grand Strand Hospital in Myrtle Beach.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Beaver where she was active with the Hodge Band.  She also volunteered at the Historical Society of Beaver County.

Mother of Karen Mlynarski (Mark) of Beaver, Kristen Norris (Dennis) of Huntingdon and R. Todd Caldwell of Spokane, WA. Also survived by eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and two sisters, Carolyn Moyer of Collegeville, PA and Jane Miller in Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Pruett, who she married on May 16, 1975 and who died on December 16, 2020 and by her beloved Cocker Spaniel, Patty and her Maine Coon cat, K.C.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church, 252 College Ave. Beaver, PA. Memorial donations in her memory may be made to the Beaver County Humane Society, 3394 Brodhead Rd. Aliquippa, PA 15001. Burial will be in Verona Cemetery, Oakmont.
