Loretta I. Irwin

Loretta Irene Irwin, age 85, of Valencia, passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2026, while under the care of AHN Wexford Hospital.

Born December 30,1940, she was the daughter of the late John Andrew Fisher and Emma Emaline Kahl Fisher.

From the age of 18 to 72, Loretta was employed as a Registered Nurse working in various departments at several hospitals in the Pittsburgh area.  She enjoyed quilting and was an avid book reader. She loved hosting holiday gatherings, above all her family was most important to her.

She is survived by three children, John A. Irwin and his wife Judy, Susan Zabicki and her husband Robert, and Keith Irwin and his wife Bonnie. She is also survived by six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to Loretta’s parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Davis Irwin, who passed away in 1992; One Brother Robert Fisher and four sisters, Opal, Pauline, Margaret and June.

A memorial service to honor Loretta will be announced at a later date by her family.
