Lois V. (Crispens) Polivka

Lois V. Polivka, age 96, of Mars, formerly of McCandless Twp., passed away on Saturday evening, October 31, 2020 at St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars.

Born in West View, PA on June 27, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Edith Crispens.

Lois was married to her beloved husband, George, for 71 years.  He passed away on December 19, 2013. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Walter Crispens and her sister, Helen Grossman.

Lois will be sadly missed by her two children, George and his wife, Sheri of New Castle and David and his wife, Veronica of St. Johns Florida, also 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter and many loving nieces and nephews.

Lois enjoyed making beautiful rag baskets and rugs, loved watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates and traveling to Erie and Tennessee to visit friends. Her greatest joy was spending time with family and friends. Every time her family visited or talked on the phone, she always asked about every family member and told them she prays for them every day.

Lois loved Jesus, her Lord and Savior with all her heart and her loving compassion and prayers  touched the lives of everyone she met.

Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Wednesday from Noon to 3:00 PM. Services will follow at 3:00 PM. Please wear a mask and practice social distancing as required by health regulations. Burial will be in Allegheny County Memorial Park, McCandless Twp., PA.
