Leslie A. (Schwab) Lawther

Leslie A. Schwab Lawther, age 77, of Middlesex Twp., Valencia, passed away on Wednesday morning, October 23, 2024 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA on August 20, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Kermit W. and F. May Lilley Schwab.

Surviving are her daughter, Tracy Gualtieri and her husband, Patrick of Freedom, her son, Craig T. Lawther and his wife, Leslie of Gainesville, VA., her grandchildren, Tyler Gualtieri, Lea Callahan (Shane), Emma Lawther and Ethan Lawther, her sister, Kim Shafer and her husband, Dan of Zelienople and her niece, Claudia Shafer.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas R. Lawther, who she married on December 3, 1966 and who died on July 31, 2010 and by her grandson, Phillip Lawther.  Leslie had a generous heart for helping others and loved spending time with her family, her pets and enjoyed a good tea party.

A private visitation and service was held at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA and burial was in Mars Cemetery, Adams Twp. Condolences are available at www.mcdonald-aeberli.com.
