Kurt J. Beitler, 68, of Mars died Wednesday November 9, 2022, peacefully in his home.
Born in Pittsburgh, January 11, 1954, he was the son of the late John Joseph and Claire (Kraus) Beitler.
He retired in January 2020 after a long career at W.J. Beitler Company. Kurt was an avid runner, completing multiple races and two half marathons. He enjoyed barbecuing and was known for his smoked brisket and turkey. He loved spending time at the beach and was proud of his German heritage. Above all Kurt treasured the time he spent with his family and his dog, Pearl. His pride and joy were his four grandchildren, who affectionately called him “Pappy Kurt”.
Kurt is survived by his wife, Donna (Sirera), whom he married almost 45 years ago on November 26, 1977; three sons John J. Beitler of Philadelphia, PA, Robert S. Beitler of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Mark J. Beitler of Mars, PA; two daughters Lacee Beitler (Matt Faix) and their four children of Mt. Lebanon and Anne Beitler of Mt. Washington; six sisters Karen Beitler, Karla Sable, Lisa (Paul) Binotto, Linda (Mark) Vanek, Marilyn Milligan and RuthAnne (Donald) Russell; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 5-8 P.M. on Sunday November 13, 2022 at the McDonald- Aeberli Funeral Home

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Monday November 14, 2022 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Kilian Roman Catholic Church 7076 Franklin Rd. Cranberry Twp., PA
Kurt will be laid to rest in the Mars Cemetery
