Kenneth J. Porter

Kenneth J. Porter, age 91, of Valencia, Middlesex Twp., passed away in the comfort of his home on Thursday afternoon, September 1, 2022.

Born in Marietta, Ohio on October 30, 1930, he was the son of the late Kenneth Gale and Lorena June McGregor Porter.

Ken had been a carpenter in the Carpenter’s Union.

He had served in the United States Navy during the Korean War and was a member of LifePointe Alliance Church in Mars.

Surviving are his wife, Patricia C. Blackburn Porter, who he married on April 3, 1954, two sons, Kenneth Porter and his wife, RoxAnne of Dallas, West Virginia and Kevin Porter of Middlesex Twp., six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Dolores Porter, Kathryn Himes and Wanda Andrews and by his brother, Larry Porter.

Service and burial in Middlesex Methodist Cemetery will be private.
