Obituary

Kenneth J. Kennedy, age 70, of Mars, passed away on Monday morning, March 6, 2023 in the comfort of his home with his family at his side.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA on February 27, 1953, he was the son of the late Joseph J. and Sylvia Marie Miller Kennedy.

He was a 1971 graduate of Mars High School and had served in the United States Navy during Vietnam.

Ken was a laborer for Insight Pipe Contracting.

He was a member of the Mars United Presbyterian Church and was a Life Member of the Adams Area Fire District.

Surviving are his wife, Nely V. Marco Kennedy, who he married on June 25, 1976, two daughters, Elizabeth Murphy (John) of Butler and Priscilla Green (Chuck) of Valencia, a son, Jesse Kennedy (Amanda) of Penn Hills, his grandchildren, Sydney and Kaylee Klenk, Alyssa Murphy,  Jada, Chuck, and Lincoln Green, Curren and Milo Kennedy,  a great granddaughter, Penelope Wilton. Also survived by his brother, John Kennedy in South Carolina and his sister, Beverly Kennedy in Florida.

Private Graveside Services will be held at the Mars Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans Rd. Renfrew, PA 16053.
