Kenneth Altfather Obituary

Kenneth Frederick Altfather, age 83, of Marshall Twp., passed away suddenly on Tuesday afternoon, October 11, 2022 at his home in Wexford.

Born in Homewood, PA on January 26, 1939, he was the son of the late Daniel Robert and Eleanor Brickett Altfather.

Surviving are his wife, Diana Lee Wilson Altfather, who spent 64 years together, two daughters, Robin Lee Santarelli (Keith Bolland) of Wexford and Deborah Gibson (Stanley) of Bradenton, FL, a son, Daniel K. Altfather (Sandy) of Wana, WV, his grandchildren, Courtney of Wesley Chapel, FL., Ryan (Emily) of Port Charlotte, FL., Kristi (Patrick) of Vero Beach, FL., Michelle of Vero Beach, FL., and Dan (Taisha) of Jonestown, PA, also seven great grandchildren and a sister, Nancy Lee Richardson of West Plains, Mo.

In addition to his parents, Ken was preceded in death by his daughter, Becky and his granddaughter, Cassie.

Ken was a self-employed (KA Models) dedicated, hard-working and detail-oriented Model Maker and Carpenter. 

He loved golf, archery, racquetball, building RC planes, helicopters and cars. He was a self- taught guitarist and builder of his own guitars.

He was meticulous in his work and a talented model maker for his clients. He was a perfectionist. Ken enjoyed camping, the outdoors, hunting and campfires. He customized cars, motorcycles, practically anything on wheels to make them his own.

From building small models to building houses there wasn’t much Ken couldn’t do, but the achievement he was most proud of was his family.

Above all Ken was an amazing husband, Father, grandfather and great grandfather.
