Katherine Ramella

Katherine Ramella, age 98, of Mars, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at the Vincentian Home.

Born in Palmetto, FL on December 5, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Alma and E.B Powell.

Katherine worked as a nurse for over 30 years.

She had been a member of LifePointe Alliance Church.

Surviving are her four children, Pamela Bowen of Cinnaminson, NJ, Ernest (Sarah) Ramella of Mars, Gary (Suzanne) Ramella of Ruskin, FL, and Stephen (Sue) Ramella of Puyallup, WA. She was the grandmother of 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Bruno Ramella.

A visitation will be held on Monday, April 5, 2021 from 2-4 with a service starting at 4:00 PM at LifePointe Alliance Church, 997 PA-228, Mars, PA 16046. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Good Samaritan Hospice in Wexford.
